Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether has some competition in next year's city election.
City Council member Greg Jamison confirmed Monday he will run for the city's top job in 2014. ?Jamison was elected to the city council in 2008. He currently represents residents in Southwest Sioux Falls.
The rumors began swirling about Jamison's candidacy when the Twitter handle @jamisonformayor surfaced.
A formal announcement is expected next week.
